Reaching Best Seller Status became an idea in my head as I tried to determine exactly what it took to become a best selling author. I decided a while ago that I wanted to be an author, however in true dreamer fashion I wanted to take it a step further. Not only did I want to be an author, I wanted to be a best selling author.

As I tried to do some research on what exactly was required to become a best selling author, I soon discovered that there really wasn’t much there to help me out. So I decided to document my journey, obviously my end goal is to become a best selling author but I will also share my journey on becoming an author.

My goal is that this blog will become a resource center for other aspiring authors and best selling authors. I’ll share the tools I utilize to write and stay motivated towards my goal. I will also work with other authors to share their tricks and tools, as well as interviews with best selling authors.

To give you a quick overview of where I currently am in my journey, I have written a small book on developmental editing based on the work I have done with a few authors in editing, publishing and marketing their work. I’m just about to post this book to Amazon, it’s currently being converted to ebook format. I am also in the middle of editing my first full length novel…it is quite the experience.

On a more personal note, I love all things adventure! I’m an avid scuba diver. I’ve traveled a lot. I love to both read and write. And I am obsessive when it comes to reaching my goals.
